Move out tips

  1. Moving notice
    When moving out, notify the landlord or real estate agent within the period specified in the rental agreement. It` s usually 1to 2 months in advance.
  2. Turning off electricity, gas, and water
    When you plan to use stop using water, gas, and electric contact and notify the local customer centers to have the services turned off at least 1 week before moving out. Staffs from the local waterworks section, electric, and gas companies will come to your apartment on move-out day to have completed the turn-off procedures. You will be charged for the service provided up to that day.
  3. Telephone, Internet and Postal matters
    Transfer or cancel your telephone, cable and internet services. Please, check with your Contracting Provider to see if service will be available in your new location and complete the moving procedures. Please call and notify to your contracting Cellular phone Company for your change of address. Before moving, make sure to apply at the post office in your former residence, for a Notification of Change Address, so that all your letters delivered to the former address can be forwarded to your new address for one year.
  4. Large garbage items must be picked up
    Please call to your local waste collection office ahead of time and make arrangements for the large garbage items, such as furniture, or large quantities of garbage.
  5. Return your keys and vacating the premises
    After a room has been packed, clean the room and repair any damage to the walls. When you ready to vacate the room then return the keys and the real estate agent staff and landlord will accompany with you for an inspection of the apartment to compare the condition of the apartment and the furnishings and equipment with that at the time of move-in checklist.
